We are not and do not profess to be a national player or part of a big chain of outlets. Indeed, as an independent wine wholesaler, we believe this is part of our strength.

Instead we are able to offer a unique tailor-made service to each of our clients.

We will spend time building a relationship with you and as we learn more about your business and clients begin to recommend and build a list with you.

Our aim is to provide a list, or simply a wine in some cases, which enhances your offering to your clients.

A range of literally thousands of wines

In our own business we deal with many different UK agencies and importers as well as having our own portfolio of wines.

Because of our purchasing patterns we are often able to offer our clients wines at prices they might be unable to achieve on their own and still make a margin for ourselves.

This enables us often to use a number of different agencies and suppliers to build up a specific list for our clients.

We can provide wines from all around the world as well as a wide selection of spirits, whiskies, beers, soft drinks and water.

Competitive prices

We will only offer a wine to the client if we are happy that the quality and price offer the best possible value for money.

This is particularly true for House wines in particular where often clients will be seeking a competitive price for the restaurant but also a good Gross Profit percentage.

We do not offer periodic discounts or offers preferring to give the best price we can and maintain this throughout the period of the list.

Delivery schedule to suit

We use our own transport to deliver to our clients so within reason are able to offer deliveries to your specifications.

This will depend on individual cases but we endeavour to be as flexible as possible giving the client the ability to keep stock to a minimum saving both space and capital.

Designated contact points

We ensure that each of our new clients is appointed a nominated contact point within our business. This member of staff will act as the focus of the relationship and will be able to assist either directly in relation to the wines or in regard to any other queries such as accounts or deliveries etc.

Staff training

One of the most important factors in encouraging clients to try your wines is to be enthusiastic about them.

This can only be achieved if your staff are well informed about the wines on your list.

We are able and indeed encourage our clients to let us provide support to your staff, either as part of the initial training period or on a more ongoing basis. This support will include providing samples for the staff to taste each of the wines as well as a tutored tasting to enable them to ask questions and learn about the vineyards. A way of bringing the wine to life both for your staff and ultimately your clients.

POS support

We are able to provide wine lists to order and tasting notes where appropriate.

In addition we can also provide other Point of Sale support either in the form of tent cards for each table or more specific visual marketing. These include posters, coasters etc.
